FINANCE MANAGER - FULL /PART TIME POSITION

Sonas Domestic Violence Charity is the largest provider of frontline
domestic abuse support services to women and children experiencing
domestic violence in Ireland and have been providing this service for

across the greater Dublin Region. Sonas provides **Apply on the
website** homes across the greater Dublin area consisting of Refuge
units, Safe Homes, and Transitional Housing for women and children who
are forced to leave their homes as result of domestic abuse.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Finance
Manager to join our management team who will lead the finance area
within Sonas and ensure the highest of financial standards.

Applicants for this position must possess a recognised professional
accountancy qualification e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA and have a minimum
of 5 years' experience in a senior financial management position
ideally within a charity or not for profit sector organisation.
However, we do recognise that a quality candidate from the private
sector can quickly come to grips with the organisation. The successful
candidate will have a thorough knowledge and a comprehensive
understanding of the compilation of monthly accounts and financial
management processes, with excellent MS Office, IT skills and
computerised financial and accounting systems experience. Experience
in procurement practices and corporate governance is also required.

The successful candidate combining their financial expertise and a
passion for excellence will be responsible for overseeing, directing
and administering the day to day financial operations within Sonas.
They will be accountable for compliance activities as well as the
accuracy, quality and timely delivery of all measurable outputs e.g.
monthly accounting, planning, budgeting and forecasting to ensure
financial efficiency.

In addition, the successful candidate will have an unwavering
dedication to accuracy, excellent organisational, interpersonal and
communication skills together with the ability to work on their own
initiative, multi-task and prioritise their workload.

Salary will be starting at € *,**Apply on the
website** in line with the HSE Pay Scale and applicants will be
entitled to * days annual leave. The role will
be based in a Sonas office in the Dublin region.
